Funny- Bore's postings are right along the lines of half of Jesse's stances, except that Jesse balanced his thoughts out along the political spectrum. Quite a model for Moderates, definitely.
I was disappointed when Jesse got out of politics. He supplied a hysterically rich vein of material for Garrison Keillor. The guy doing the impression was spot on.
I'm for affordable Health Care...not Universal Health Care. It's not someone's fault they were born they were born with certain diseases...it shouldn't cost them their life savings just to keep up with the costs. Smoke and get cancer??? Then pay for it yourself.
I'm for responsible spending of tax money so additional taxes don't need to be implemented. If a tax needs to be implemented that will help bring in additional tax revenues from sources other than the tax itself, I'll vote it in. (Such as a New Rec Center to enhance sales tax revenues overall)
I'm for doing what right in the majority of the world's eyes and not just my chosen party. We are all the human race- democracy doesn't need to be forced...it needs to be learned. Otherwise, it's subjugation
I believe in a flat tax instead of corporate loopholes.
I believe in people owning what they say and do, without hiding anonymously.
I believe all points should be weighed equally and not just written off because they're "partisan" or because they dispute what I hold dear and refuse to learn.
I believe marijuana should be legalized or that alcohol should be made illegal. Both are equal in terms of use and effects.
I believe in smaller government...too bad neither Republicans nor Democrats live up to that, no matter what they espouse. Government has increased under both parties.
I believe in balancing a budget militarily and economically without increasing the National Debt. Republicans added pork along with the Democrats. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/04/02/p...
(A Republican Senator was the highest!!)
As for 9-11 conspiracy...that's the only thing you live on! "Saddam and Bin Laden ate lunch together!!! They eloped! A terrorist admitted to them being together then recanted! I'll be he was lying the 2nd time and not the 1st!!!" The other thing you differ with The Body on...Ventura was never afraid to own what he said. You'd think by your age, your balls would have dropped by now.
If you live a life of danger and rack up medical bills because of it, you pay your own way. If you are born with a disfigurement or disease, you shouldn't be forced to pay millions of dollars for something you couldn't help.
I don't mind taxes going up...if they are to help further the economy.
I care what people think when it comes to right and wrong...not opinions.
I trust the rich to have to pay more taxes than an individual person since a they make more money. If I'm taxed at 25%-ish, so should they without writing off everything.
I CAN copyright things from these blogs, if I want. That's the American way. Who can stop me or prove that I'm not all these extra handles? I could reap a windfall...and pay my fair share of taxes on it.
Same as above.
I have done experimenting in High School, but alcohol was my addiction. Alcohol was the one thing that took me years to stop.
As for the rest- that was how Bore responds to other people.
Ventura was also a pretty popular Governor and was a great pressence for pro wrestling. His acting career wasn't long lived, and I only personally remember him from "Predator." His problem as Governor came from a state Congress overriding his vetoes since he was a 3rd party candidate.
You’re a Catholic? A practicing Catholic? I know a lot of ex Catholics (They prefer non-practicing) But I don't know to many actual practicing Catholics. So did you agree when the church said birth control was a sin?
How does taking more money out of my pocket help the economy?
You want the rich to pay more. I trust every single taxpayer to do everything in their power to insure that they pay only that which is owed to the IRS. No more, no less. I am not rich and I take every legal deduction available to me. Do you? If you made more do you honestly think you would still feel that way?
You could. I would buy it as a coffee table piece. I would more than likely be your only customer.
Did you just propose a distinction between profesional wrestling and acting as if they were two completely different vocations?
The instant Jesse stepped into the political arena he relinquished his acting credentials and became a puppet. I liked him as a wrestler. My kids thought he was "cool".
1) Non-practicing for the most part, but born into it and schooled in my earlier days in it. I believe in preventing unwanted life, but not taking life when it's started unless it's endangering the mother.
2) You gotta spend money to make money. Isn't that how the adage goes? The more the money is spread out...taking or reaping...the better for all involved. That improves quality of life for all. Isn't that why we elect politicians: to increase our quality of life as a whole?
3) I want the rich to pay fair share...not more. Yes, I would feel that way no matter how much I made. As for legal deductions, some aren't worth the extra paperwork to take. Before marriage, I used the EZ Form, even when I could have taken off for contributions, military uniforms, etc.
4) It would be copyrighted, most likely, as material for a Ski Town Productions show. In fact, it already came close to being as such.
5) Most actors don't perform their own stunts. Wrestlers do and the acting is better in most cases.
6) I agree about The Body, but he also had some good he did as a politician...same as Arnold Schwarzenegger...re-elected in a Blue State. Moderation can win out.
If Tom Cruise or Keanu Reeves can be box office stars in today's world, then Hulk Hogan should be an Oscar winner...if ya Smellllllellllelllelllelllll...what the Rock...is...cookin'!
A box office star and a great actor are two TOTALY different animals. So lets get back to "The body" as a politician what precisely did he achieve while in office?
Oh...were you waiting on me? Considering he was 3rd Party Governor, with no Party support in State Congress, he was able to get Light Rail pushed thru. That's probably the biggest thing he accomplished, especially for 1 term.
I like Mrs Ventura rich moguls who take me out to lunch marijuana but not speed http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en... female Russian contortionists. Catholic schoolgirl uniforms.

People laughed when I said the economy was bad, and was going to get much worse. We haven't seen nothing yet.
It has been made understood to me, that there are forces at work, that we don't understand, but should respect.
Electricity, is one. Just wait until the plug is pulled. You will wish you knew more about it.
I know that the near future is full of very difficult times. People will wish they listened.
I know, that someday you will apologize to me personally
for your treatment of me. But I'll be willing to bet you don't believe that either.
Good luck
