Gee thanks for the link bore
Rasmussen Markets data shows that Democrats are given a 59.2 % chance of winning the White House this year.
and
The Rasmussen Reports Balance of Power Calculator shows the Electoral College race remains a Toss-Up. Democrats lead in states with 190 Electoral Votes while the GOP has the advantage in states with 189. On Saturday, Michigan moved from “Toss-Up” to “Leans Democrat.” When “leaners” are added, the Democrats lead 260 to 240 (see summary of recent state-by-state results).

well geez
if hes our 'next president" shouldnt he know something about the economy? no, thats not a prerequisite for any Republican candidate for Pres.
as reported by a conservative rag
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news...
so you're saying that since he, by his own admission, knows nothing about economics that he is wrong in his statement?
and that he is a hysterical pimp?
and that we should all vote for president a hysterical pimp who has no clue about how our economy works?
oh wait, we already did that twice already with lil Bush.

SBVOR:
I have been consistent and clear in my support of John McCain for years. This is because I know the troubles that he has gone through, including both Hanoi and Keating, and his honor and courage are badly needed in this country.
He is far too honest, bore, to be anything close to your sort of choice. He is not the type of shallow partisan you require. He is on a different team than little w. I predict that he will do what is right for the United States of America, for one term...then be brought down by fools like you.
That would be a shame, because it will take years to undo the damage caused by the fools like you who inflicted little w on a great nation.

Joe appreciates Sen. McCain's service.
However, isn't the point in war NOT to get captured or killed ?

Joe, use your freedom to sit at your computer and make comments like that, I'm sure every POW/MIA appreciates your point of view.
To all POW/MIA families; thank yous will never be enough for the sacrifice of your loved ones, our freedom has come at tremendous cost to many.
To all service men and women; Please know that not all Americans are insensitive jerks that would make light of the sacrifices made by our military, Thank you and Godspeed.

Joe began his post with thanks for Sen. McCain's military service.
Joe is not sure that the war in Vietnam contributed to his
"freedom".
Joe thinks that justathought's comment, or at least choice of words, sounds suspiciously like " they hate us for our freedom".
He's not sure that the North Vietnamese were likely to come storming over Rabbit Ears Pass.
Joe also wonders when justathought's sense of humor was taken captive, and how long it has been kept in the dark.
Joe also wonders why justathought feels the need to resort to namecalling.

Joe, I have a great sense of humor but when it comes down to our military putting their lives on the line for the USA I see no humor, no matter which war or why they were fighting. Maybe you aren't sure the Vietnamese weren't going to storm over rabbit ears pass but I'm damned sure Hitler would have if given the chance and we had GI's killed and captured in that war too! As for name calling, I just said we weren't all insensitive jerks but if the shoe fits....

Joe stole bloggies style!
42 is not agreeing with joe. he thinks Joe was a little flippant with the anti-war sentiment he is flirting with.
Freedom of speech is not gratis. The men and women in uniforms paid for it. A modicum of respect is earned and due.
Sorry Bolggy I had to do it!

Joe has decided to start narrating his life in the third person, ala Peter Griffin, which is where Joe thinks blog got the idea from in the first place.
Joe thinks there should be someone with a sense of humor in these forums, since it appears to Joe that way too many of you take yourselves and your often misguided and/or misunderstood viewpoints WAY too seriously.
Joe is not bloggyblog, Joe feels his dictation is better. Joe does share some of the same viewpoints as bloggyblog, as he does with many of the posters on these "forums-for-folks-with-too-much-time-on-their-hands, sometimes including Joe".
There may be a few posters who will recognize who Joe used to be, but they would had to have been active in a previous discussion.
As for equating Hitler to the misguided police action in Vietnam, the comparison is lost on Joe. Joe thinks that statement is a classic misdirection.
Thousands of our professional soldiers killed or wounded, nothing accomplished in the end, very little support from the government -who asked/forced them to sacrifice- after the violence ended, Joe wonders if justathought thinks that sounds familiar ?
Joe has great respect for our military men and women, he just disagrees with how they have been treated over the last 40 years. Joe thinks also, that it is everyone's duty, not just civilians, to protest orders from a misguided administration.
Freedom of speech actually IS gratis, all people have that right. Whether they later pay the price for it is a different subject. The soldiers who paid for our freedom of speech did so 225 years ago, and Joe fails to see how his exercise of that freedom somehow denigrates their actions.
Therefore, Joe fails to understand how the failed police action in Southeast Asia helped him to be more "free".

Joe also wonders how justathought feels about Sen, McCain's hypocritical lack of support for Rep. Webb's GI Bill proposal ?

Joe, in this thread I don't give a crap about your political views and my political views have nothing whatsoever to do with my reaction to your smart azz insensitive statement. You made light of our men and women in uniform getting killed or captured and that's what I responded to. Now you're claiming to respect our military, YOU SIR/MADAM ARE A JOKE.

Joe detects a little anger in justathought's post, always the sign of a small mind.
Joe can say whatever he feels, just as justathought can, and can also laugh derisively at silly posts made by folks who know no better.
Joe thinks "Wow, some right-wing mouthpiece called him a joke, wonder what was said right-winger's first clue that Joe's post was a joke?"
Joe observes justathought's sidestepping of the real issue, the treatment of our service personnel. joe thinks of an old adage, "Facism often comes wrapped in a flag, carrying a cross".
Joe thinks that justathought should keep his/her posts to just that....justathought
