Gov. Bill Ritter spoke at the Yacht Club restaurant in Steamboat Springs on Sunday to thank Routt County voters for their support and lay out his goal’s for improving education, health care and renewable energy use in the state.
The Freddy Jones Band will perform at the base of Steamboat Ski Area on March 10 as part of the Bud Light Rocks the Boat Concert Series.
Bettie Pierce enjoys a visit with her good friend Sidnie the Chihuahua at the Doak Walker Care Center. Sidnie, her friend Onzlo and owner Karen Covillo visit the center every week through the Heeling Friends program.
African drum instructor Dr. Djo Bi, who originally is from the Ivory Coast, will be teaching two master drum classes on Tuesday and Thursday.
