Steamboat Springs long jumper Lauren Marias earned a fifth-place finish at the regional track meet in Grand Junction on Saturday. Marias is one of six Sailors qualified for the Class 4A State Track and Field Championships that begin today in Lakewood.
Hayden junior Billy Zehner took third in the boys 110-meter hurdles at regionals to qualify for the Class 2A State Track and Field Championships. The state meet is today and Saturday in Pueblo.
