Jim Stanko and CJ Mucklow look over a description of Stanko’s 100-year old ranch at the 4-H Achievement Awards on Sunday. The Stanko Ranch was one of four century ranches recognized this year, along with the Monger Ranch, the Appel Farm and Saddle Pocket Ranch.
Local veterinarian Lee Meyring, pictured with his kids, was honored Sunday at the Routt County 4-H chapter’s Achievement Day for outstanding volunteer service. Meyring teaches the basics of being a vet to 4-H members weekly.
Fitness instructor Tammie Workman leads a full class of participants in exercises intended to improve their strength and flexibility. The class, among activities offered during Wellness Wednesdays, is popular among Craig residents ages 50 and older.
