The Canadian national team arrived in Steamboat Springs earlier this week to take advantage of the facilities for training. In the next two weeks, the team will bring three different groups to Steamboat.

The Steamboat Ski Area opens today with three lifts servicing nine trails. The opening of additional lifts and trails in the near future will depend primarily on Mother Nature, but operations crews are aiming to begin a new round of snowmaking on Rudi’s Run, Lightning and Ego.
