Routt County Road and Bridge workers Tom Hagman, left, and Steve Kernen install a new decorative bridge railing Wednesday with retired shop teacher Johnny Walker at Spring Creek. The two railings, which feature various designs cut from sheet metal, were built by the Peace-Art Club at Steamboat Springs Middle School and replace the cables that served as guardrails on the creek’s old wooden bridge.
