Parts of the ski area were regraded before the season. Opening day was postponed from Nov. 21 to 30.

This house at 443 Oak St. once was the home Dr. Frederick E. Willett, who came to Steamboat Springs in 1912 and practiced medicine in Routt County for 56 years. A March 13 article in the Steamboat Today incorrectly identified a home at 544 Oak St. as Willett’s former residence.
