On Our View: Plan supports multi-modal transportation

Sounds political to me, you know, the TAYLORS. Just reduce the speed limit to 25 along the whole thing now.

Granyerett, I strongly disagree. The good ole' United States is finally catching up with the rest of the world regarding fuel prices.
Road trips are an American Tradition. A gallon of gas is well worth the 4 dollars they are charging. Think about all the snowblowing, lawnmowing and weedwacking not to mention that a GOOD vehicle can go 25 miles on just one gallon of gas. You can even haul a case of beer! I still take a scenic route and do not mind driving a little out of the way, hell for 15 dollars I can see about 75 miles of good scenery..stop yer whining and invest in oil while it is truly still cheap. and yes, lol.

On Our View: Nuisance bears a solvable problem

I would like to see ALL dumpsters bear proof downtown. There is evidence everyday that the bears are going to restraunt dumpsters.
