I would be surprised if Brenner gets even 30% of the Yampa Valley vote. Remember, the City Council votes were just within the City. Brenner has also irritated quite a few County residents…

I agree with WZ4EVER, “Brenner has proven to be dishonest and self-serving.” It is too bad that he wants to be the representative from NW Colorado. He is not a good example.

I agree yampagov. I even heard that the Rec center formed a committee that was run through the Parks and Rec dept. The attitude and one-sidedness by the Parks and Rec employees was so strong that the Committee really could not function with any reasonable open mind. Then as we all know, the rec center proposal was poorly planned and poorly portrayed to the community. Again, rather than using good sense and good business, the attempt was to shove it down our throats.

Let us hope that Council also sets a new standard and example with the current City staff. Open your doors and work with the Community. Good luck.

It is amazing how arrogant the latest City Council has run its business. The rec center vote speaks for itself.

Stop listening to the City lawyers in your secret meetings and get on with the programs. Steamboat has too much to offer.

Do not forget how Ken has turned his back on the hot springs community….the loss of the rec center vote only exacerbates the need for the City Council to get back to the basics…

It will be an interesting election; will the incumbents be voted out on both the City Council and School Board?

Lately, it seems that the City of Steamboat has been very unappreciative of anything that has been given to them as a gift. One of these days, I hope that they get their heads out of their arses and see the light. We have a beautiful community that needs to be properly thanked.
