Chad, thanks for the breath of fresh air. Someone who actually wants to be known in the thread! It gives you a lot of credibility that these others don't (don't want to?) have. In civil conversations people are generally known. Without identity people are more apt to throw gasoline on the conversation just for the sake of trashing someone else. www.i'm a bully.com !! Wow, have I missed something? I thought this was about hiring a PR firm for $60,000 ($60,000 / how many teachers are there…xmas bonus?) to educate all of us dumb voters on how the half cent tax works to our benefit. I agree with the editor on this one.

Patsy is one of the reasons that this is such a special place. Whether or not you knew her, she helped shape the character of Steamboat and Routt County. I've never met a harder worker. I'll miss her. God Bless.

Why is Dan Mulcahy getting busted for drinking and driving newsworthy? I'm not saying that he didn't do anything wrong. He'll already get his name in Sunday jail report. Give the guy a break!

The employees of the school system have more insight and knowledge of whats happening than most ofn the public does. It makes sense to have at lease some seats filled by those in the know.
