A YouTube moment

Anyone who has dealt with police and courts reporter Alexis DeLaCruz understands what a terrific personality she has.

Alexis is a regular host on our morning news, which airs weekdays on the Web site and on Steamboat TV18. We shoot the news in the late evening or early morning and sometimes have to use a couple takes to get it smooth.

Alexis can usually nail it the first time through, but on occasion, she stumbles. Here is an outtake from the June 1 broadcast. Alexis loses it on a story about how to prevent Hantavirus infections. As the video demonstrates, her laugh is hard to match.

After circulating through our newsroom, the blooper has made it onto YouTube. I figured I should share it with others.
