The DeVincentis e-mails

Some have questioned the stories we have written about the e-mails exchanged between then Strawberry Park Principal John DeVincentis and Mercer Island teacher Joby McGowan.

We have been accused of not telling the whole story and of using selective quotes. As I have said before, I disagree with that assessment. However, in order to let readers judge for themselves we have scanned all 54 pages of e-mails we received and posted them to the Internet.

On Sunday, reporter Mike Lawrence will report on DeVincentis' career. In that report, Mike will discuss e-mails sent during DeVincentis' tenure as a School Board member. A pdf of all of those e-mails will be posted when the the story is printed.

Scott, What do you make of the rumors surfacing about McGowan working with an attorney in Denver to bring a suit against the Pilot and School District for the release of the emails? Have you heard any of this?
