Hayden has hired Town Clerk Barbara Binetti to oversee an array of town services, ranging from elections to records to sales tax licensing.

Binetti has lived in Hayden since 1993 and previously worked as human relations manager at Peabody Twentymile Mine northwest of Oak Creek for 19 years. With a master’s degree in strategic organizational management from the University of Denver, Binetti said she was ready for the opportunity to serve her home town.

“I love this community; I’m so excited to put my energy into my own community.”

Previous Hayden town clerk of almost 12 years, Sharon Johnson, retired this summer, and Binetti started in the role in late June.
