Causeway Coffee hosts coffee with cops this week
Coffee with Cops will make its next stop on Oak Street at 8:30-10 a.m. Wednesday at Causeway Coffee House.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know us better and enjoy time with old and new friends in a welcoming environment,” said Police Chief Mark Beckett. “So, join us at Causeway Coffee to wake up, recharge and celebrate summer with us.”
Coffee with Cops is based on the police department’s daily briefings, which allows face-to-face interaction, sharing information, and checking in with each other in a compressed time frame. In addition to SSPD, members of the Routt County Sheriff’s Office will be in attendance.
The program is designed to allow open, two-way dialogue between the community and the police department and its officers. Community members can ask questions and learn about the department.
