Community invited to suicide prevention training Thursday

Community members can learn the top tips to help someone struggling with thoughts of suicide by attending a free Question, Persuade, Refer training 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday at Old Town Hot Springs in Steamboat Springs.

The suicide prevention training is part of events marking National Suicide Prevention Month offered through nonprofit Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide with its mission to preserve, protect and promote life by raising awareness and providing a lifeline of support and healing in the Yampa Valley.
