Lemon’s w/ Stephan Lear Band
9:30 p.m. – 1 a.m., Saturday
Schmiggity’s, 821 Lincoln Ave
Yes, lemons are a fruit. However, Lemon’s (with an apostrophe) is a Memphis-based indie rock band composed of Susie Hydrick, Jackson Williams and Ben Spiegelman. While their sound is heavily characterized by catchy guitar riffs and thoughtful instrumentation, just as much — if not more — thought goes into the lyrical content of their music. They often draw inspiration from life experiences, such as family trauma, romantic and familial relationships, and their own introspective journeys. Their sound is reminiscent of groups who inspire them like Young the Giant, The Backseat Lovers, Arctic Monkeys, and other indie rock groups. Tickets are $5. Ages 21 and up only.
