A new ski destination will be joining the Ikon Pass for the upcoming 2024-25 season: Sierra-at-Tahoe, located 12 miles from South Lake Tahoe in California.

Averaging 400 or more inches of snowfall a year, Sierra-at-Tahoe is the closest mountain to Sacramento and the Bay Area. It boasts over 2,000 acres of skiable terrain ranging from beginning to advanced runs and with amphitheater-style terrain parks, the ski area is home to South Lake Tahoe’s only halfpipe.

For the 2024-25 season, Ikon Pass holders will have access to seven days at Sierra-at-Tahoe with no blackout dates while Ikon Base Pass holders will have access to five days, with select blackout dates. The ski area will also be available on the Ikon Session Pass.

Sierra-at-Tahoe will continue to offer its own season pass starting at $389 for a weekday, Monday through Friday pass and $629 for an unlimited adult pass.

Sierra-at-Tahoe is now the sixth California ski area to be included on the Ikon Pass. Ikon also added five days of access to Taos Ski Valley in Mexico for its base pass this season, with select blackouts.
