Letter to the Editor: Thank you to Casey’s Pond
I would love to thank Hillary Warren and the staff at Casey’s Pond for planning and hosting a 100-year birthday celebration of my dad, Bob Smith, last Friday.
The golf-themed party was amazing and the sweets were to die for! The love and attention extended to him was unbelievable!
The whole community should be aware of the love and care that flows in that community. We’re all so glad it was saved! Dad is a WWII Navy veteran, and the local veterans honored him at the birthday party with a little ceremony and a few gifts.
Dad was so happy and appreciative and many of us had tears, for sure!
A special thank you to Jim Stanko, Chuck Parsons, Jeffrey Steck, Kent Frederickson, Hal Mattes and Jerry Arentz. The time you took out of your day to honor my dad will never be forgotten.
