Obituary: Ed Mewborn

Edwin “Ed” Mewborn passed away in Denver on August 4, 2024. He came to the Yampa Valley and worked at Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp. during their early years. Later, he worked at the Energy Fuels Mine where he enjoyed his time and work with Bob Adams. The mine later became The Twenty Mile Coal Company.
Ed is survived by his wife, RuthAnn and his three sons,Jimmy (Susan), Rick (Deirdre) and Steve (Amy). He was a loving grandfather to Reilly, Tommy, Tanner, Blake and Wesley.
