Registration open for 23rd annual Colorado Snow and Avalanche Workshop

The Colorado Snow and Avalanche Workshop, hosted by the Colorado Avalanche Information Center and Friends of CAIC, is scheduled for Oct. 18.

The event takes place at the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center, 150 W. Adams Ave. in Breckenridge.

Presentation topics include airbag effectiveness, wet-slab avalanche cycles, crusts and facets, and stress-management programs.



Early-bird registration for $35 is now open at Support.FriendsofCAIC.org/CSAW for the 23rd annual workshop. Registration increases to $45 on Oct. 1. 

CAIC is a state agency within the Department of Natural Resources that is dedicated to public avalanche safety. Since 1950, avalanches have killed more people in Colorado than any other natural hazard. Learn more at Colorado.gov/avalanche.
