Steamboat Springs City Council is hosting a Coffee with Council event from 8 to 9 a.m. Friday at the new City Hall, 115 10th St.
The event, which will be held in the Paachihpi Community Room, allows community members to meet with city council members to discuss topics and issues that are important to them.
“The success of this program is the open discussion, and while not everyone always agrees, the group is able to discuss important issues together and in a respectable way,” states a city news release.
The relaxed atmosphere encourages open communication while council members seek to better understand community needs.
