The Colorado High School Coaches Association has announced its inductees to the 2025 Hall of Fame class, and the list includes Steamboat Springs High School volleyball coach Wendy Hall.

Hall joins seven other recipients in the 61st Hall of Fame class, which will be recognized at an induction banquet on April 14 at the Douglas County School District Legacy Campus in Parker. Tickets for the event can be purchased at colohsca.org

“The positive impact that Coach Hall has had on the SSHS community for almost 40 years can’t be quantified,” said Athletic Director Luke DeWolfe. “SSHS is a better place because of Coach Hall.”

Hall, a 1982 SSHS graduate, began coaching for her hometown team as an assistant in 1987. By 1989 she had become head coach, and she remains in that position today.

During her 36 seasons with the Sailors, the team holds a 566-294 record with eight state tournament appearances. Nineteen of her players have gone on to play at the collegiate level, with three playing international professional volleyball.

Hall has also served as the school’s assistant girls basketball coach for 10 years and as the assistant track and field coach for eight years.
