Steamboat snowboarding community and next generation celebrated by SSWSC

The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club is celebrating the local snowboarding community with Olympians Taylor Gold, Cody Winters, Mick Dierdorff and Alex Deibold at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Steamboat Social Club, 1103 Lincoln Ave. 

The celebration will focus on rallying around snowboarding, celebrating its local roots and raising funds for SSWSC snowboard programs. 

The event is open to all ages and will include Gold’s project, “Home Break 2/A Pipe Dream,” filmed in Steamboat Springs. Pizza and refreshments will be offered at no charge, with donations accepted.
