The final race series of the STIFEL Success NorAm Cup took off down Sugarloaf and Burke Mountain last week, with Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club athletes and alumni showing off on the East Coast.

SSWSC’s Jeremy Nolting, who was the top American at World Juniors in Italy, claimed the National Downhill Junior Champion title with his 10th-place finish in the first downhill race of the event.

Abby Olson took 15th in the downhill for the women.

In super-G, Logan Grosdider landed ninth in the first race, later taking her first podium of Finals with a bronze medal in the second race. SSWSC alumna Tatum Grosdidier was also top-10 in both Super-G races with fifth- and sixth-place finishes.

Nolting continued with solid results in both super-G races, earning 17th place in both events.

In slalom and giant slalom, the women moved to Burke Mountain and the men continued racing at Sugarloaf.

Facing weather delays and cancellations at both venues, Logan continued her podium streak with a silver medal in the slalom race, a bronze in the first giant slalom race and eighth place in the second.

Tatum Grosdidier narrowly missed the podium in the first GS, taking fourth and later placing 10th in the second GS.

At Sugarloaf, the men faced very challenging conditions. With a surface that didn’t allow for much movement based on start position, Nolting came home with a 25th-place in GS.
