The convening, “When Discrimination Kills: Suicide Prevention for Marginalized Communities” will be led by Pastor Tim Selby of Heart of Steamboat, Steamboat Springs Police Chief Mark Beckett and REPS Marketing and Communications Director Anna Allsberry.
The event aims to address the heightened suicide risks faced by marginalized groups. Attendees will hear personal stories and discuss how to best foster community support for individuals experiencing discrimination.
