The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Rocky Mountain Division has announced the 60 athletes to its 2024-25 All-Star Team, which includes 20 from the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. 

The All Star team names athletes across the disciplines of Alpine, freestyle, ski jumping and Nordic combined. Making the team is considered one of the highest honors attainable within an athlete’s division. 

All Rocky Mountain Division All Stars are named to the team based on performance in events from the previous season and they must complete an athlete fitness assessment conducted in the fall. 

Steamboat’s three freestyle athletes named to the All Star team are Anabel Ayad, Mia Satkiewicz and Liam Siefken. Steamboat’s seven Alpine athletes include Katharina Cosby, Adrian Beauregard, Jeremy Nolting, Curtis Zanni, Ian Haupt, Logan Grosdidier and Laiken Roth. 

Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club athletes account for all 10 of the Rocky Mountain Division’s Nordic combined slots as the club is home to the only Nordic ski jumping facilities in the division. 

Those 10 Nordic athletes include Haley Brabec, McKenzie Maines, Ella Wilson, Fritz Gamber, Sawyer Graves, Ethan Maines, Austin Johnson, Nico Bowdre, Kaden Graham and Arthur Tirone.

I’d like to thank RMD for their ongoing recognition of athletic excellence and also all the Colorado resorts who support these athletes’ success by providing complementary passes each year.” 

As part of the All Star recognition, the Alpine and freestyle athletes receive passes to resorts in Colorado from Vail Resorts, Alterra Mountain Company and Colorado Ski Country USA.
