Wintry weather expected this weekend in Steamboat Springs

Chilly temperatures and snowfall will continue into the weekend before a warming on Sunday, according to local meteorologist Mike Weissbluth in his twice-weekly report.

Thursday’s storm will bring around 2-5 inches of snow in Steamboat Springs, with more snowfall on the way on Friday.

Around 1-4 inches of snow is expected to fall Friday afternoon.



The storm will be followed by sunny skies and cool temperatures on Saturday, with the high reaching about 40 degrees. The sunshine will continue on Sunday, and warm temperatures will reach the high 40s, eventually bringing Monday’s temperatures to the mid-50s.
