UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center recently was recognized with a 2024 Excellence in Patient Experience award in the small hospital category from National Research Corp. Health.

The award goes to one facility with fewer than 150 beds measuring across the continuum of care and selected based on a score for the question, “How likely would you be to recommend this facility to your family and friends?” during the period of April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024.

YVMC ranked first out of 212 hospitals in the small hospital category, according to a UCHealth media notice.

“Every single person who works at YVMC does so for one reason – to deliver safe and high-quality care to our patients,” said Soniya Fidler, president of UCHealth YVMC. “This recognition is directly tied to the feedback our patients provide. We are humbled by their gratitude for the care they received.”
